Classic Rock Tribute Comes to Fremont Street Experience Presents “Summer of the 70s”

Platinum Rockstars Perform Hits from Led Zeppelin, Boston,
Journey, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Van Halen July 6 - 10

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – July 6, 2010 -- Fremont Street Experience continues its “Summer of the ‘70s” by welcoming Platinum Rockstars, the ultimate classic rock tribute band. With an incredibly versatile set list, fans will be treated to an array of hits from Led Zeppelin, Boston, Journey, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Van Halen. Platinum Rockstars will perform three sets a night Tuesday, July 6 through Saturday, July 10 from 9 p.m. – midnight, all for free.

Platinum Rockstars is a six-man group from Los Angeles, Calif. Since 2008, their unique approach to 1970s and 1980s classic rock has paid tribute to many unforgettable bands, all within a single show. Reminisce to mega hits like “Stairway to Heaven,” “More Than a Feeling,” “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Hot for Teacher,” and many more. Encompassing a range of smash hits, the group has Opened for Pat Benatar and has toured internationally.

Following the lead vocals of David Victor, the group includes Lance Victor (lead guitar), Glenn Jost (drums), Dario Sexias (bass), Oleg Ginzburg (keyboards), and Mike McManus (piano). The music and culture from the decade of the 1970s is being featured downtown Las Vegas this summer as Fremont Street Experience presents the “Summer of the ’70s” festival and free concert series.
