As a teenager, he was a hit on both screen and stage with starring roles in films such as “Bye Bye Birdie” and plays such as “West Side Story.” When he was just nineteen, Bobby Rydell was the youngest person ever to headline New York’s famous Copacabana. As a recording artist, Bobby had 34 Top 40 Hits to place him in Billboard’s Top 5 artists of his era.
