Las Vegas – Feb. 1, 2012 – Sumita Beauty, the leader in The Art of Threading® and The Art of Mehndi®, located at the Fashion Show Mall will celebrate its one year anniversary on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
“Expanding our brand across state lines and establishing our first studio in Las Vegas during tough times was definitely a challenge but we believe strongly in this city and the power of what we do for the beauty industry,” said Sumita Batra, CEO of Sumita Beauty. “We are confident that our services will continue to ‘shape the brows’ of many more tourists and locals in the future and appreciate the support from the community and the Fashion Show Mall.”
Continuing its philosophy of getting involved and giving back, Sumita Beauty partnered with many local charities such as Opportunity Village, The Shade Tree, Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada and Nevada Cancer as well as national charities including City of Hope Medical Center, American India Foundation (AIF), Red Cross, Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy and more.
Sumita Beauty also encouraged and empowered its customers to give with the introduction of Shukar bead bracelets. Any customer that purchased a Shukar, which means gratitude in Hindu, were able to direct 100 percent of the sale price to their charity of choice.
In addition, Sumita Beauty stocks its studio with dozens of eye pencils, brow pencils, eye shadow pencils, eye cream, moisturizer, make-up remover and more.
During the year, the studio welcomed new store manager, Daisy Kostanyan; formerly with Ziba Beauty, Sumita Beauty’s Los Angeles headquarters, to Las Vegas to help with the growing demand.
