The Stratosphere Hotel to Host
Dale Earnhardt Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament

NASCAR fans invited to watch their favorite drivers play

 

WHAT: The Stratosphere Hotel to host the “Dale Earnhardt Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament.”

WHO: Kerry Earnhardt, eldest son of NASCAR racing legend and seven-time champion Dale Earnhardt, will host the tournament.
Kenny Wallace, nationwide driver and TV personality will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
Kirk Shelmerdine, a former crew chief of Dale Earnhardt’s race team.
Other drivers scheduled to appear are Casey Mears, Matt Crafton, Regan Smith, Aric Almirola, Eric McClure, Todd Bodine, Mike Bliss, Scott Lagasse Jr, Andy Ponstein, Danny Efland, and many others including car owner Tommy Baldwin.

WHEN: Thursday, February 25, 2010
3:00 p.m. – Media Reception with the drivers – Drivers will be available for interviews
4:00 p.m. – Poker Tournament begins

WHERE: The Stratosphere Hotel
Stratosphere Theater of the Stars

WHY: A $150 entry fee into the tournament will be donated to the Foundation. A $30 donation at the door will allow spectators to view the tournament. The Dale Earnhardt Foundation’s mission is to continue Dale’s legacy through charitable programs and grants that sustain his lifelong commitment to children, education and environmental/wildlife preservation.
